SEWING KEEPS ME SANE
it lets me escape into a separate world - it lets me explore ideas and forget everything around me. i love to try out something new - i love to start a project with a clear idea in my mind but then let the thread, fabric and whatever comes into my mind decide the moment. i sew like i cook, that is, i decide to hardboil an egg and by the time the water is boiling i've pulled together the fixings for a stir-fry.
my motto for sewing: don't worry about it and have fun!

DAS NÄHEN RETTET MEINEN GESUNDEN MENSCHENVERSTAND
es lässt mich in eine eigene welt entrücken - es lässt mich ideen ausleben so dass ich alles um mich herum vergesse. ich liebe es ein neues projekt mit einer festen vorstellung anzugehen um dann aber den faden, den stoff und was immer durch mein hirn fliegt das weitere vorgehen zu entscheiden. ich nähe wie ich koche, das bedeutet ich entscheide mich mir ein hartgesottenes ei zu kochen, bis das wasser aber kocht habe ich längst alles für ein asiatisches pfannengericht zusammengestellt.
